Petit à Petit

Petit a Petit

I am so excited about my new planner for 2014. No matter how many organization apps I try, there’s something about actually writing things down that I can’t quite give up.

Petit à Petit (Little by Little) contains everything I need/want in a planner. It comes with plenty of calendar pages, a world map, Paris illustrations, and even stickers. What’s not to love? I ordered the “Vintage Blue” color.

How do you stay organized?

Hello 2014

2014 is almost here.

This May I will graduate college after 4 incredible years at UT. It’s sad, exciting and everything in between. Rather than dwell on the uncertainty of life after college, I resolve to:

  • make the most of my time left at UT,
  • fearlessly look forward to the future,
  • and let my passions and faith guide me to new beginnings

So this New Years Eve I raise my glass to you in honor of new beginnings, new adventures and new energy. Happy new year!

Cow Tipping Creamery

The beautiful Austin weather is finally back! Before it gets cold again, you must try this ice cream trailer…

You know when you order ice cream with a topping and you run out of the topping almost instantly? I know that frustration. You can go ahead and think of Cow Tipping Creamery as your new best friend. They have mastered the technique of “stacking.” No longer will you have to worry about running out of your favorite topping. It’s truly a wonderful concept.

Pictured above is the “All the Ritz” stacker. Vanilla ice cream covered in fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce and Ritz crunch. My only complaint is that the chocolate fudge hardened quickly so there were massive mounds of chocolate to break up. It was still delicious though. To avoid this minor issue, you can opt for chocolate sauce instead of fudge. I will know next time.

Check out the menu here and the facebook page for hours. Enjoy your expertly stacked toppings!

Vested for Fall

fall vests 2013

1. Ambition Utility 2. Vince Camuto Denim 3. Gap Fur-Trim Puffer 4. Steve Madden Faux Fur 5. Graham & Spencer Faux Shearling, 6. J. Crew Excursion Quilted

Why vests? As we head into fall in Austin, layering becomes a necessity. It’s often cold in the morning and hot by mid-afternoon. Enter the vest. It’s the perfect option for this awkward in-between weather.

Above are some of my favorite picks for this year and a little styling inspiration. Pair one of these options from quilted to fur with a long-sleeve shirt and you will be good to go for fall!

On another note, today is the two-year anniversary of Living with Grace! Crazy huh? Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me over the past two years. Your support has kept me going and I can’t thank you enough for your kind words. It has been a fun two years and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for year number three!
